    E-Reader for Android Is Registered to the Wrong Account?

    You can deregister the E-Reader reading app from your device or by visiting Manager Your Content and Devices on Amazon.
    To deregister the E-Reader reading app, your device must be connected to a wireless or data network. From the Home screen of E-Reader for Android, tap the Menu icon. Tap Settings, and then tap Deregister     This Device. Confirm the sign out by selecting Sign Out.
    After deregistering, you can register your E-Reader reading app to another Amazon account. www.kindle.com/support Go to Register E-Reader for     Android for more information.
    Important: When you deregister E-Reader for Android, you are also signing out of other Amazon apps with Single Sign On enabled (such as Amazon MP3) installed on your device. After you register E-Reader for     Android, you will sign in to these apps again.

    Did you Sync to Receive your E-Reader Content?

    Sync your device if you did not receive your E-Reader content on your E-Reader for Android app.
    From the Home screen, tap the Sync icon. Tap the Menu button (or your phone’s menu button on older devices), and then tap Sync to synchronize your notes, bookmarks, last location read, and     highlights with your other E-Reader devices.

    Is your Android Device Connected to a Wireless or Data Network?

If you are having trouble with shopping, downloading, or syncing, check the status of your wireless or data network connection. If you don’t have data network bars or see an active Wi-Fi signal on your phone, you’ll need to connect it to a wireless network. From the Home screen of your phone, view the 3G or 4G network or Wi-Fi indicators, www.kindle.com/support:

    Is your Payment Method Valid?

    Your 1-Click payment method may not be valid. Check your 1-Click payment settings.     Visit Manage Your Content and Devices.
    Under your E-Reader account, click E-Reader Payment Settings.
    Under Your Default 1-Click Payment Method, click Edit to review or edit your settings.

    How to Remove E-Reader Content?

    Follow the instructions below if you need to delete E-Reader content from your E-Reader for Android app.    www.kindle.com/support To delete downloaded content from your device:
    Press and hold the cover of the item.
    Tap the Menu button and select Remove from device.
    Note: Removing E-Reader content from the TAB reading app does not remove purchased items or archived personal documents from your E-Reader Library stored on Amazon.
    To permanently delete content:
    Visit the Manage Your Content and Devices page on the Amazon website.
    Select the tab Your Content and locate the item you wish to remove.
    Select the actions button (three dots) next to the title, then select Delete to permanently remove the title.
    Select Yes, delete permanently.
    After the title is permanently removed from your account, you’ll no longer have access to re-download it unless you purchase it again.
